Ok Tedi Mining Limited is owned by the State of Papua New Guinea (PNG) and has been operating an open-pit copper, gold and silver mine located in the Star Mountains of the Western Province, PNG for over 35 years.

In early 2018, HBS was awarded a contract to supply machinery, highly experienced operators and mine-site based personnel to assist the OTML engineering and projects department in constructing their crusher relocation project. HBS scope since expanded to support the mining department through a long-term agreement for mining equipment and ancillary supporting fleet.
In true support of local business, HBS formed Fubilan Joint Venture Ltd (FJV) in 50/50 partnership with the established local business Camp Administration Ltd to undertake all business operations at Ok Tedi. Given the exciting diversity and extent of other works slated within the OTML current mine plan, HBS through our FJV partnership is committed to providing a sustainable and continued presence onsite as a strategic supply partner to OTML.
